Kallakurichi Perumal Temple Chariot Festival 2026
The Kallakurichi Perumal Temple Chariot Festival was held as part of the Chitra Pournami celebrations. The event featured special worship and rituals for Lord Perumal along with Sri Devi and Bhoodevi. A decorated temple chariot was prepared for the procession through the important streets of Kallakurichi. Large numbers of devotees participated in pulling the chariot and attending the religious ceremonies.
